THE RADIO PRESENTER
Bigger has been one of the UK's most respected and influential urban / Soul Presenters / DJ's for sometime. The last seven years have seen him rise to the top in his field. In the past five years he has been voted third twice, second twice and number 1 R&B DJ once and in one of the leading magazine polls. The only people that have been in front of him have been national radio presenters/ DJ's. His critically acclaimed radio show ìUrban Essentialsî has picked up various awards and accolades from the industry. The show has become that big that it is the most listened to urban music show in Soul Cityís broadcast area and is sponsored by clothing giant 'Ben Sherman'.

On 'Urban Essentials' Bigger has interviewed the biggest R&B and Soul acts in the world for example Craig David, Destiny's Child, Donell Jones, Faith Evans, Usher, TLC, R Kelly, Aaliyah, Joe, Chante Moore, Jaheim, Mary J Blige, Misteeq, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Luther Vandross, Nelly, Alicia Keys, Ja Rule, Mariah Carey, Busta Rhymes, Kelly Rowland, Beyonce, Black Eyed Peas, Ashanti, Kindred, Dennis Taylor, Next and many more. Bigger was approached by digital Sky platform radio station Solar Radio which offered him the chance to go nationwide. The show has also spawned several successful compilation albums and a magazine all aptly titled 'Urban Essentials'.

THE CLUB DJ / CLUB TOUR
Starting out as a club DJ in the early 80's as a teenager playing at renowned East London, Essex and Kent venues such as The Berwick Manor, Chains, Stage 3, The Top House, Tipples, Septembers, Bensons to name a few of the many. Bigger was one of only a handful of DJ's that fused his love of soul music with his love for hip hop. In the late 80's again alongside literally a handful of DJ's namely Westwood, Steve Wren and Lee Stephens he became the vehicle to promote what was the then modern contemporary soul danceable music which would eventually be tagged 'New Jack Swing'. So NJS changed to 'Swing Beat' along came Jodeci, R Kelly, Mary J, SWV, TLC to add to the already crowned kings of new jack swing Guy, Keith Sweat, New Edition and Al B Sure. Club nights such as BO$$, Juicy Fruit, Cleavage, Club 8090, The Flava and Bump n Hustle propelled Bigger to the forefront of the urban music scene. NJS progressed musically it became less raw and although he preferred the rawness personally he realised this change had to take place for the music to survive.

The 'Swing' tag got dropped and was replaced with 'R&B' which miffed many, Bigger included, because he never thought the 'Swing' tag should have been dropped. 'R&B' derived from the industry because they wanted to take it to the masses and they thought NJS or swing beat was not a term that rolled off of the tongue. Bigger not wanting to comply with mainstream launched his radio show, chart and a year later tour with the music he tagged as 'Urban' and the now infamous brand 'Urban Essentials' was launched. The tour started off with 20 dates six years ago in the past three years he as completed 100 dates in 1999, 120 dates in 2000, 150 plus in 2001 and 2002 and this year is expected to top 200 dates and in excess of 150,000 people. It has not been uncommon for him to play three clubs in one night and in one amazing 7 day period on the tour he played Reading, Northampton, Southport, Newcastle, Glasgow, Bournemouth and Torquay. It is officially the biggest 'Urban Music Tour' in the UK playing to more people more towns and more clubs than any other tour. The tour used to be done in three month periods with a month gap in between but it had to keep being extended due to demand for dates, so in 2003 it has changed to the entire twelve months being devoted to the tour with just one two week break just after Southport. This amazing tour is the only DJ tour to be sponsored by music industry giants 'Sony' and the tour has broke club attendance records throughout the UK and Europe constantly. Not wanting to be known solely for his urban endeavours Bigger joined forces with The Lacy Lady team around six years ago to display his extensive knowledge and love for soul and mixing it with the quality end of the urban scene he is renowned for. Off of the back of this the nights 'Urban Soul' and 'Street Soul' have been a huge success around the UK. E-MAIL Bigger or call 0208 593 8553 for full date list.
